Bangladesh leading all rounder Shakib Al Hasan return back of his short break from test series. He has already get half century against South Africa invitation XI. Team missed the
opportunity of trying Mominul. Hopefully fit again Tamim would boost the batting.
Bowling however remains a big worry. Hopefully Mashrafe and bowling coach Walsh
would short out soon. Hope Bangladesh would turn around. A series win would
create opportunity for Bangladesh to climb to 6th position above Pakistan in
ODI ranking.
JP Duminy
and AB de Villiers also return to
South Africa squad after test series. Paterson was called up on Monday to replace the
injured Morne Morkel for the second test against Bangladesh that starts in
Bloemfontein on Friday.
Tahir meanwhile believes he can continue to
perform at his peak and be ready for the World Cup. Imran Tahir of South Africa talks up the Tigers after the Proteas
completed a training session in Kimberley. “They are not an easy team. They proved that by
qualifying for the semi-finals in the Champions Trophy.”
